WILDLANDS HONEY

REWAREWA HONEY
Monofloral rewarewa honey comes from the New Zealand honey suckle flower, complex and specialized towards specific forms of pollination.
While rewarewa is a sensation straight off the spoon, it is also fantastic drizzled over breakfast cereals and fruits. When looking to combine with fruit in a drink, try paring with pineapple and lemon, the sourness of the fruit balances out the sweetness of the honey.
HONEY VERSE SUGAR
Public health recommendations and policies worldwide are increasingly moving towards lower intake of sugars in our diets. Comvita supports this position.
Scientific evidence indicated that not all sugars are created equal, compared with other sugars honey is a more nutritionally complex food that contains a range of micronutrients. Honey also has a lower calorific value and glycemic index than white sugar.
In combination with a balanced diet, a moderate intake of honey may provide health benefits over consumption of other sweeteners including white sugar.
